High School work, in alphabetical order.

Beach
Acrylic on canvas, 11" x 14"
My parents got divorced when I was a senior in high school. I painted this for my mom to hang in her new house. It's still there.

City
Graphite on paper, 11" x 15"
My drawing class studied perspective. Everyone had to draw a city street in one-point and two-point perspective. This one is one-point, but I have my two-point around here somewhere...

Crossroads
Acrylic on canvas, 22" x 30" and 5" x 7"
Two versions of this same work exist. My friend David has the big one in his apartment. He saw the small one I did just for fun and wanted a big version for himself. So he got one.

Field
Acrylic on canvas, 11" x 14"
This was just a birthday present for my dad. I was into painting landscapes at the time.

Guitar
Tempera on paper, 22" x 30"
I took a painting class in 1998. We studied Picasso for a while. Our assignment was to turn a typical still life into a Picasso-like painting through the use of shapes and color.

Hand
Graphite and Pastels on paper, 8" x 11"
Just for fun. Because I wanted to.

Magnolia
Graphite and Pastels on paper, 8" x 11"
A nurse at the hospital commissioned this one.

Overhead
Graphite on paper, 11" x 15"
Another class study of one-point perspective.

Rose Print
Aluminum foil, India ink, and Glue on cardboard. 8" x 11"
This is a really basic printmaking technique when you don't have the real equipment to make "real" prints. It works well in a high school class.

Shed
Graphite on paper, 8" x 11"
This is part of the original chicken barn at my house. I wanted to draw it because it's a really old and interesting building.

Sky
Acrylic on canvas, 11" x 14"
Our AP Literature class had to create a unique display for the Board of Education. Everyone decided to contribute their own writing and/or artwork. I painted this for the display and then gave it to my teacher. It's still hanging in her classroom.

Trees
Acrylic on canvas, 11" x 14"
Another commission from a nurse at the hospital. I wish I had a better picture, but I don't have the original painting anymore.

Untitled
Acrylic on three canvas panels, Fishing line. Approximately 12" x 15"
I was bored and experimenting with leftover pieces of canvas. This is what happened.
