New layout! The reason I haven't been updating this lately is because I got a Livejournal. There are several reasons I decided to do this. One, because I can have all my friends on one page to read their updates. Two, I can have comments. Three, I can make any post private or friends-only. And four, I'm an icon whore. I will still update this, but not as often.

Look for a new layout and an update in the Quotes section soon.

Hey, everyone needs to go make one of these and post it in my comments on my livejournal. Click here for my livejournal. And post it in your journal. Because it's fun and it kept me entertained.

The site is http://elouai.com/doll-makers/candybar-doll-maker.php there.

And this really does look like me (other than the fact that if everyone was really proportioned like this, we'd all fall over backwards because our heads would be dragging the ground).

I really should update more often. Lots of good news today.

(Apologies to anyone who has previously heard this story.) So I have this cousin named Robert. We are the same age. We grew up together. He was one of my very best friends in the whole world. So then his parents got divorced and all of them moved very far away. When he was in high school, for reasons we didn't understand, he ran away from his mother's house and went to live with his father. At which time, he became involved with drugs and a general life of crime. We saw him every so often, but he was angry, he didn't want to see us, he would leave without warning, etc. The last time I physically saw him was when he was being arrested at Disney World for shoplifting. Then, I didn't hear from him for about five years or so. Next thing I know, in May, he's calling me because he's decided to go to my school this August. So I go visit him, he tells me he has a daughter and that he's getting his life straightened out. I'm thinking, yeah, right, but he called me Friday night. He said that he had just registered for his classes, he was staying with his grandmother in town (not the one we share, his other grandmother), and that he was taking me out to dinner. I hate to get my hopes up, because I'm so afraid he'll just run off again, but we had a great time. So we'll see.

It's scary how alike we are. For example, we were driving down the interstate Friday night, listening to the radio, and a Garth Brooks song came on. We both sang it, word for word.

Also on Friday, I took my brother to my old high school so he could get his locker, his schedule, etc. Guess who was in the cafeteria. No, guess. Mr. Smith!!!! So I talked to him for a while and he told me he was moving. But not far. Just to Adel. Baby. Adel (baby) is a town sort of like Clyattville, but bigger. It's known for one thing. It has a giant car dealership. This car dealership put Adel (baby) on the map. Their slogan is "Such and Such Car Dealership. Come see us in Adel, baby!" So every time anyone in this county says Adel, it is required to follow it with a baby. Yes. (Adel is pronounced with a long A sound. Aaaaaadel. Baaaaaby.)

In other good news, we have this story: As a student in Georgia, with a high grade-point-average, I receive the HOPE scholarship. I go to school for free. However, the scholarship only covers four years of classes. I am in my fifth year because I chose my major a little late. But, I got a letter from HOPE, saying that my classes are paid for and that they owe me an extra 150 dollars, which they will deposit in my bank account. I have no idea why, nor do I know wny they're paying for this year. But I will not question anything, take my scholarship, and run. ;)

And the final bit of good news: My Mommy taped Ash Wednesday for me last night. Elijah Wood is in Ash Wednesday. That is all.

So, I guess I'm back for good. I hope. If you want to read my Italy journal, it's in the Archives section now. There are new quotes, check out the Most Recent page. Um...I guess that's about all. As soon as I finish getting the Italy pictures online, I'll let you know. As soon as I take picture of the watercolors I painted in Italy, I'll put them online, too, and let you know.

Otherwise, I'm ready for the rest of my job-free summer! And, just in case I didn't tell you, DOM is going to be on I Love the 90's. All week. *tapes*
